What are your fees and do you accept insurance?

Fees

  • Session fees—$160 for individuals ($190 for family) to be paid at the end of each session.
  • Sliding scale options are available for those requiring financial assistance—feel free to ask during our initial consultation.
  • Sessions are 50-60 minutes

Payment

  • Credit cards are accepted through Jane App’s secure platform. You can enter details on the Jane Intake Form).
  • Interac e-Transfer is also available at aaron@holdingspacens.com.
  • Receipts will be emailed upon payment, which can be used for insurance reimbursement or tax purposes.

Insurance Coverage

  • Most major insurance companies cover my services. I do not direct bill for insurance but provide detailed receipts that you can submit to your insurance company if you have private insurance. (Note: Any fees paid for services that are not covered by insurance are tax-deductible as medical expenses.)
  • It’s important for you to confirm with your insurance company that my services are covered. 

Questions To Ask Your Insurer

  • Does my plan cover counselling provided by Registered Counselling Therapists (RCT)?
  • What is my annual coverage amount (in dollars and sessions)?
  • Is this coverage per calendar year or rolling 12-month period?
  • Do I cover part of the visit, or is it fully covered?
  • What is my remaining coverage for the year?
  • How much is left in my health spending account?
  • How do I submit claims for reimbursement?
